The Midwest Literacy Collective is a statewide effort focused on improving literacy outcomes by:
- Advancing evidence-based literacy instruction
- Supporting educators through professional learning and coaching
- Using research and data to strengthen practice and policy
- Partnering with families, communities, and adult learning providers
Mission
We serve as Nebraska’s trusted hub for coordinating, scaling and sustaining evidence-based practices and resources to advance literacy for all learners, from birth through adulthood.

A coherent, sustainable literacy system that ensures all learners have access to high-quality literacy supports from birth to adulthood, supporting school, home and community.
